Hello
I’m Kristy, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am also a certified PCIT International Therapist, and Licensed Exceptional Student Educator with the state of Florida. I have 16 years of experience in the school system working with a variety of ages, and 7 years of experience as a mental health therapist, now doing Supervisory work. I have worked with childhood behavioral issues, Autism, Anxiety, OCD, Trauma, and Addiction.
My therapy approach is “coming home to yourself.” That means being authentic to your true self, valuing your own ideas, and developing trust to allow yourself to love yourself.
I believe in compassion, but with boundaries. I believe in focusing on attachment styles and how our past shapes our present selves. I also believe that all are capable of redemption.
If your child has behavioral issues, I can help utilizing PCIT therapy. If you are suffering and need to talk to someone, I utilize a variety of therapy modalities. I offer appointments on Saturdays both online and in-person, and support all ages 6+
