Monica Camacho, MS

I'm Monica Susan Camacho, and it's wonderful to meet you. I am a registered mental health counseling intern, licensed in Florida. I'm a therapist with a passion for guiding individuals through their healing journeys. As a plus-size, female, BIPOC, and neurodivergent therapist, I bring a blend of personal understanding and professional expertise to my practice.

I am formally trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which holds a special place in my heart.  I have also received training in play therapy techniques including expressive arts, sand tray, and trauma-informed care. ​ I work with clients age 9+ who are experiencing challenges with mood, behavior, or coping with stress and life changes. I am fluent in Spanish and I am passionate about working with BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent populations.​
